Les Mimosas is a modern, well maintained apartment building located within 10 minutes of Nice by car, bus or train. This large studio apartment is on the second floor, accessible by elevator or stairs. The neighborhood is quiet and very safe for evening walks to the sea or any number of cafés. The living area is bright and airy, with a nice ceiling fan and one new queen size bed. Internet/WiFi is provided at no extra charge. The dining table, which can seat 4 comfortably, is next to the fully equipped kitchen. Refrigerator/Freezer, toaster oven, stovetop, French and American coffee maker, rapid hot water heater for tea, dishes, utensils, pots and pans, herbs and spices are all there for you. The beautiful updated bathroom with toilet has an extra large shower. Linens and towels are included as well as beach mats and a wheeled shopping cart. The washing machine is located in the kitchen with a drying rack also available. There is a beautiful large, private terrace equipped with dining table and chairs for outdoor dining and the very important petit dejeuner. Street parking is available just outside the apartment building and on the local streets.

Les Mimosas is located in Cagnes-Sur-Mer, just 200 meters from the beach and seafront promenade, a mere 3 minute walk. You may walk to shops, restaurants, cafes, open air markets, and the new Visitor’s Center’s. It is also located only one block away from the bus stop that can take you to and from the Nice airport, Cannes, Monaco, St. Paul de Vence, Eze, Menton….just to name a few. Imagine, by car, train, Uber or bus you are only 10 minutes to Nice, 30 minutes to Monte Carlo, 1 hour to Italy!
The seaside of Cagnes-Sur-Mer has a lovely promenade which you can explore on foot, bicycle or skates. The city of Cagnes-Sur-Mer has a vast supply of bicycle rentals to accommodate more than 11 km of cycle paths have been made to date. You may rent a bicycle in town and drop it off in Nice! The ancient fishing village, Cros de Cagnes, founded by Italian Fishermen in the nineteenth century is a lovely blend of modernity and traditions with its sheltered harbor, fishermen Chapel of St. Pierre, streets named after flowers, St. Peter’s Square, and much more for you to discover. The Provencal Market takes place every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30 – 12:30 at l’avenue des Oliviers.
Places of interest include Renoir’s estate, where the great painter spent the last years of his life, the Medieval castle at le Haut-de-Cagnes, and the Hippodrome, with its busy horse racing seasons and various other activities. Don’t miss the large market downtown in the morning with fruits, vegetables, pastries, breads and wine.
You will find the Office de Tourisme de Cagnes-sur-Mer quite helpful for restaurants, shops, activities, transportation and more. It is located adjacent the Promenade within a 10 minute walk.
